Pressed, Polished, Practical
Tucked just off the kitchen, this laundry room needed a serious upgrade in both style and function. The homeowners wanted the space to blend seamlessly with the adjoining kitchen and dining areas, while still feeling like its own bright, inviting retreat. Their wish list included durable, high-quality materials, more countertop space, functional cabinetry, and a dedicated spot to hang clothes to dry.
Working within the existing footprint and reusing the washer and dryer, we mirrored the kitchen’s door style in a crisp white finish for a fresh, airy feel. To ground the space and tie it back to the kitchen, we installed the same striking black metallic tile floors as the kitchen. Quartz countertops and a quartz sink provide long-lasting durability, while matching hardware creates a cohesive look.
A clever hanging rail adds a personal touch, making laundry day just a little more enjoyable. The result is a hardworking space that proves utility rooms can be every bit as stylish as the rest of the home.
