Calacatta & Contrast

Brooklyn Park, MN

Primary bathroom before renovation

This Master Bathroom went from closed off & dated to open, airy, & showstopping.

Potential

The original bathroom featured a closed off shower area that was starting to leak and a vanity that was outdated and featured a makeup area that they clients never used.

Client Requirements

The clients were looking to open the space up and take full advantage of the large space. They also wanted to elevate the space and add some elegance to their bathroom.

The new bathroom perfectly blends a neutral, yet striking palette with a touch of contrast.

These homeowners came to Crystal Kitchen + Bath to update their outdated master bathroom. The original shower was closed off and the tile was cracking. The original vanity featured a makeup area that was never used and was taking up valuable space. It also featured a large triple framed mirror that was bulky for the space.

The solution was to open up the shower area and extend the tub deck to be used as the shower bench. For the vanity, the makeup area was removed to add needed storage and take better use of the space. Three black framed mirrors flanked with black and gold sconces elevate the space and add the perfect touch of elegance.

A neutral color palette featuring Calacatta marble looking porcelain and Cambria Whitehall counters are perfectly contrasted by the stained cherry cabinetry from Crystal Cabinet Works and black fixtures. The new space is much more spacious, airy, and elegant.
